Police in Liverpool continue to crack down on organised criminal groups following the fatal shooting of Olivia Pratt-Korbel. UK tabloids report that security arrangements for the visit in September of Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, remain contentious.
In London, a fatal stabbing at the Notting Hill Carnival is being investigated by police. Activists who glued themselves to the Hay Wain in The National Gallery have been charged with criminal damage.
