In domestic UK news, the reported abduction and murder of a popular DJ is being investigated in Essex. Several armed robberies at commercial retail premises have been reported. CCTV footage showing the moment a group of American tourists were robbed in London, with luxury watches the thieves’ target, have been released by the Met police.

In international news, UK residents have been warned that industrial action in France and Covid rules in Spain could impact travel during the school holidays.
