UK retailers have expressed fears that cases of shoplifting could increase significantly in the UK as economic issues continue. In London, a raided gym locker has seen one woman lose £8,000 after her credit cards were stolen.
In international news, militants have drowned in Nigeria following an attack on their base by the military. Al Shabaab in Somalia have continued their terror campaign, with 21 people killed in Hiran province. In Ukraine, the country’s counter-offensive in Kherson continues.
