A relative of soccer star, Gareth Bale, was the subject of an armed robbery at their residence. Two men who robbed the home of cyclist Mark Cavendish and his family have appeared in court. There have been a number of reported incidents of armed robbery at commercial premises.
UK protest group, Extinction Rebellion, have announced an end to acts of public disorder.
