In UK crime reports, there have been several armed robbery reports including incidents at petrol stations and the robbery of a high profile fashion designer. In London, two men who took part in a plot to steal money from cash-in-transit services appeared in court.
In international news, an Irish gang stole an estimated £94,000 in a cash machine robbery. Belgium and Ecuador have agreed to cooperate more closely on their anti-narcotic efforts, after nine tonnes of cocaine destined for the European country were seized in Ecuador.
